Food, drink and entertainment; the main restaurant serves meals international buffet style, alongside Egyptian specialities with daily menu changes. The Bella Vista restaurant overlooks the hotel’s waterfalls flowing into the Red Sea, serving traditional Italian cuisine, with live music in the evening. The Mermaid restaurant offers seafood and fish with live entertainment every night. Snacks and drinks are available from the Cabana Bar (on the beach), the Palm bar (poolside), the Splash Bar (poolside), the Lobby Bar and the disco bar Coco Loco. The Shores Amphoras also features 2 cafes; the Panorama Cafe (outdoor on top floor overlooking main pool with magnificent view of Red Sea and beachfront) and the Layalina Cafe (also outdoor serving Oriental style cuisine and shisha). Evening entertainment is offered throughout the week including folklore (including belly dancing), dancing, live music and disco. Sports, games and activities; private 200m beach, 6 outdoor swimming pools featuring 2 with natural rock formation pools, beach volleyball , squash, aqua gym, tennis, billiards, table tennis, scuba diving, snorkelling, well equipped gym , full service spa offering massages and beauty/therapy treatments. For the kids; dedicated children’s corner, mini entertainment club and children’s section of 4 outdoor swimming pools. Additional; 24 hour reception, 24 hour check in/out, multi lingual staff, guest relations office, 24 hour room service, laundry service, shopping arcade including; chemist, atm/banking, photo shop, diving shop, souvenir shop, mini-market, perfumery, jewellers and hairdresser. Courtesy shuttle bus to Naama Bay, no charge parking, beach towel service and maid service.

Amphoras Emerald Club - Separate check-in and speedy check-out in the club lounge, breakfast (06:30-10:30), luncheon (11:30-13:30), afternoon tea (14:30-16:30), fruits and cookies (20:30-22:30), cocktails and hors d'oeuvres (17:30-19:30), complementary coffee, tea, soft drinks in the room, imported alcohols (served according to the lounge hours), free minibar, free wireless internet, free laundry (two pieces per stay), deluxe amenities, free DVD and book rental, all day refreshments in club lounge and one complementary body massage per stay. Only children over 12 are permitted in the club room.

Room Facilities

The Shores Amphoras Hotel features 484 tastefully decorated twin and chalet family rooms with full en suite marble bathroom with a deep soaking tub, hairdryer, shampoo and conditioner and other toiletries (body lotion, shower gel, shower cap and soap bar), shoe shine, sewing kit, TV with international channels, mini bar, safe box, and leather folder with notepad and pen. All rooms have secluded terraces with views out over the sea, pool or gardens. Some views and amenities may incur supplement charge. The single room policy is 1 adult plus 1 child or 2 children in their own room.

In addition to the above, the family chalets can accommodate up to either 4 or 6 persons and include a master bedroom with a queen-size bed, one bathroom, a living area with a sofa bed that sleeps two persons, and private terrace. Cots, high chairs and extra beds are available on request at no additional charge.
