Calas De Mallorca
Calas de Mallorca is a quiet resort on Majorca's east coast, 70 km from Palma, and close to the beach "Es Domingos" which is one of the largest on the Mallorcan coastline. Three sandy beaches bathed by clear blue sea offer a range of water sports with world famous underwater caves as a special treat for divers. There is also a cliff path joining the beaches for those who enjoy a little exercise. Spectacular scenery and rocky coves can all be explored on foot and attractions such as the Jumaica Tropical Park and the Caves of Drach are easily accessible. A good supply of bars, shops and small restaurants line the beach and evening entertainment is fun but fairly low key. A trip to the Sunday morning market in nearby Felanitx should not be missed and the town of Manacor offers interesting tours around its artificial pearl factory and provides the opportunity for buying jewellery.

The HSM Canarios Park Hotel in Calas de Mallorca is a friendly, well run hotel set in one of Majorca’s most peaceful resorts. Close at hand is a sandy cove and just 15 minutes drive away is picturesque Porto Cristo. There is a small beach within 8 mins (400 metres) walk and the resort centre of Calas de Mallorca is 1.5km away. The main beach is within a 15-20 minute walk away. The Canarios Park has a friendly team of staff to look after you and the ambience is relaxed and informal, making this an ideal place for a family holiday.
The airport is a 45-minute drive.

The facilities at Canarios Park include 2 main swimming pools and 1 just for children, sun terrace, restaurant, bar, 2 lounges, organized activities, mini-club, satellite TV in the rooms, daytime and evening activities, snooker and pool tables, small souvenir shop, 2 tennis courts, volleyball court and volleybeach, shooting range, mini golf, multisports court, archery, complimentary mini-train service to the beach and resort centre several times a day.(The mini-train is FREE for hotel guest to and from the beach only but to ride to the resort centre there is a small fee)

The HSM Canarios Park Hotel feature great facilities and comfortable guest rooms offering private bathroom, satellite TV, telephone, safety deposit boxes for hire, maid service, terrace or balcony. From May 2010 the hotel rooms will be equipped with a ceiling fan.
